If required the FESS^® Range of nasal sprays can be used in conjunction with other medicated nasal products.

Use with nasal steroids and antihistamines:

The nasal passages are lined with a layer of waterproof mucus. This waterproof layer may be difficult to penetrate with a nasal steroid or anthistamine.

When an anthistamine or nasal steroid is applied to untreated mucus it may remain on the surface of the nasal membrane with minimal penetration of the waterproof mucus layer.

FESS Nasal Spray is a saline nasal spray and is therefore able to break down the waterproof mucus layer. It is therefore a good idea to use FESS Nasal Spray 5-10 prior to the use of a nasal steroid or antihistamine.

Using FESS Nasal Spray may help to break down the waterproof mucus layer and allow the nasal steroid or anthistamine to better penetrate the mucus layer.

Use with medicated decongestants (vasonconstrictors):

Use FESS Nasal Spray 5-10 minutes after using a medicated decongestant. This will help to moisturise and clear the nasal passages.

Please note that vasoconstrictors should only be used for short periods of time.
